This card is valid for three years.
The Basic Tuberculosis Competency Validation Course meets the ISDH TB online requirements. Participants will understand and incorporate into skill demonstration the procedures of administration, reading, and recording Mantoux skin test results.
The participant must first complete the ISDH free online course at
Select ISDH TB Basic Course #5338.
The American Lung Association Indiana TB Competency Validation must be completed within 60 days of completing the online modules.

This card is valid for three years.
Step by Step Access Instructions
Step 1: Go to https://in.train.org for the ISDH IN-TRAIN online course.
Step 2: Select ISDH TB Basic Course #5338
Step 3: Complete the online course.
Step 4: Contact us to complete the TB Competency Validation. For admission into a skills session, students must present their Certificate of Completion for the online portion of the course to the ALA Instructor.
The American Lung Association Indiana TB Competency Validation must be completed within 60 days of completing the course. TB competency validation check-offs cost $75 and takes approximately 45 minutes.
